Almut Pohl graduated from TU Wien, where she majored in civil\/structural engineering. She further holds a PhD from ETH Zurich in the field of structural engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her studies, Almut lived in the USA and Australia for ten years, where she worked in academic research and as a project engineer for bridge engineering. In Australia she also obtained the status of Chartered Professional Engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010, Almut founded EnginEdit together with Clare Burns. She has since translated and edited hundreds of highly technical documents in the area of civil engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clare Burns is a native English and German speaker. She studied civil engineering at ETH Zurich, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After her graduation she spent four years in Bolivia, where she worked for a construction firm. From 2005 to 2011 she worked as a research associate at the Institute of Structural Engineering of ETH Zurich, where she obtained a PhD in the area of reinforced concrete structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
