Almut Pohl graduated from TU Wien, where she majored in civil/structural engineering. She further holds a PhD from ETH Zurich in the field of structural engineering.
After her studies, Almut lived in the USA and Australia for ten years, where she worked in academic research and as a project engineer for bridge engineering. In Australia she also obtained the status of Chartered Professional Engineer.
In 2010, Almut founded EnginEdit together with Clare Burns. She has since translated and edited hundreds of highly technical documents in the area of civil engineering.

Sara Reichenbach graduated from the Vienna University of Technology. She then completed a PhD in the area of structural engineering.
Since 2019, Sara has been working at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, specialising in resource-efficient structural engineering.
Sara acquired her outstanding English language skills as a child in the American International School Vienna. Throughout her career in civil engineering, she has been using these skills to translate and edit highly technical research papers, reports and proposals.

Yasmin Lemcherreq

Yasmin Lemcherreq graduated from the Vienna University of Technology with a Dipl.-Ing. in civil engineering. After working for two years in a civil engineering firm, in 2016 she commenced a doctorate at ETH Zurich in the area of structural engineering.
Yasmin grew up in Morocco and Austria and is fluent in German, Arabic and French. Over the course of her career, she has had many opportunities to translate technical texts and use her language skills as an interpreter.

Dr Clare Burns

Clare Burns is a native English and German speaker. She studied civil engineering at ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
After her graduation she spent four years in Bolivia, where she worked for a construction firm. From 2005 to 2011 she worked as a research associate at the Institute of Structural Engineering of ETH Zurich, where she obtained a PhD in the area of reinforced concrete structures.
Since 2011, Clare Burns has been working as a structural engineer at Walt + Galmarini AG in Zurich.
